- Find the North or South Coordinate on the left side
- Place your left pointer finger on this line(or imaginary line)
- Find the East or West Coordinate on the bottom of the map
- Place your right pointer finger on thie line(or imaginary line)
- Follow the lines or imaginary lines until your fingers touch
- Write out the ENTIRE NAME of the physical feature you are locating
